Do you possess an excellent eye for detail and experience with Sage 50 Accounts software?
We have a fantastic opportunity in Whitstable for an Accounts Manager to work for one of our established manufacturing clients. In this role you will be working full-time.
Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices and consolidating regular supplier statements
- Producing financial reports for customer, supplier and product activity
- Responding to financial enquiries from customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
- Producing regular customer statements and communicating with customers regarding invoice payments
- Posting monthly management accounts journals
- Support effective control of the general ledger, including performing balance sheet account and bank reconciliation's
- Work closely with the Finance Director to complete the monthly close and relevant postings in a timely manner
- Gathering of required information to support production of periodic forecasts, VAT returns and year end processes
- Provide assistance to external auditors on a timely basis in the performance of their audits and in implementing recommendations agreed by management
- Assisting with financial aspects of bid preparation
- Other duties as deemed reasonable
Skills and Experience
- Studying for an accounting qualification or qualified by experience
- Excellent working knowledge of the MS Office suite of programmes
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Sage 50 Accounts software
- Experience working with confidential information
