An Accounts Payable Assistant is needed on a temp to perm basis for a private education provider in Central London.
The role is hybrid, 1 - 2 days per week in the office, the rest from home.
They are looking for a candidate looking to progress their career in finance in an experienced and friendly finance team.
The role is a sole Accounts Payable role compromising of end-to-end Accounts Payable management.
Duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant will include:
- Processing of invoices
- Coding and receipting POs
- Raising POs
- Liaising with suppliers on queries
- Liaising with teachers on orders
- Placing all orders for 6 schools and getting those approved
- GRNI reports
- Monitoring of the prepayment schedule
- Progressing to learn prepayments and accruals
The ideal Accounts Payable Assistant will:
- Have at least 1-2 years of finance experience
- Have intermediate Excel skills
- Be keen to learn and progress
- Have strong attention to detail and be a pro-active worker
- You must have a notice period of 2 weeks or less to be considered for the role
- Netsuite experience not necessary but ideal
