am currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable assistant to join a growing Global Travel organisation in London. This is initially a temporary role with a view to go permanent after a few months. You will have a min of 3 years experience in Accounts Payable and be immediately available.

Responsibilities will include:

• Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording Accounts Payable data
• Preparing bills, invoices for payment run
• Leasing with vendors and customers for any queries
• Emailing remittances
• Obtaining statements for month end balance confirmation
• Maintaining filing of AP data
• Reconciling vendor accounts and preventing mis-allocation issues
• FX transactions - perform necessary allocations and revaluations where required.
• Performing necessary invoice checks against PO and budgets
• Month end reporting on Accounts Payables ledger
• Company specific AP reporting (weekly and monthly)

Experience and skills:

• Previous AP experience, support and training will be provided for areas that need more exposure.
• Impeccable attention to detail and faultless accuracy.
• Good organisation and time planning skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage and meet key deadlines.
• Team player who enjoys working cross-functionally.
• Must be organised, thorough and accurate, always demonstrating a high level of professionalism and integrity.
• Enthusiastic and highly motivated.
