Job Title: Senior Finance Assistant (Payables)

Location: Farringdon, London

Salary: £35,493 - £37,361

Full-Time Permanent

This role:

• We are looking for a Senior Financial Assistant to join our Accounts Payable team on a full-time basis. 
• - Ensuring that data is input onto the Purchase and General Ledgers accurately and on a timely basis, ensuring deadlines are met and service standards maintained.
• - Ensuring all departmental records and documents are filed and maintained
• - Answering calls and taking messages from colleagues
• - Evaluate the Accounts payable system and liaise with your line managers to improve effectiveness

What you'll need to succeed:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Good numeracy skills
• Experience supervising a team
• Strong customer service skills
• Good IT skills
• Experience using Oracle financials or a similar finance package
• Experience in planning and organizing the workload of a team
• Strong reconciliation skills and an eye for detail
• An affinity with the work of the Social Housing sector
