Senior Accounts Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounts Assistant who is meticulous, able to handle high volumes of transactions, and looking to work in this fast-paced marketing business. The role is based in London reporting into the UK Finance Manager and supporting the wider team.

Our client is a specialised marketing business, working with renowned clients within the Aerospace, Pharmaceutical and Medical industries.

This is a hybrid role with 4 days a week based from their City of London office.

Description

The successful Senior Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:

• Manage and oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable processes
• Bank reconciliations
• Assist in preparation of the management accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assist with audits and manage tax payments

Profile

A successful Senior Accounts Assistant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Actively studying ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Previous experience in similar role with the interest in taking a step up
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Offer

The successful Senior Accounts Assistant will be entitled to the competitive salary of £27,000 - £32,000 depending on experience, along with these other benefits:
