Accounts Payable

Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable to work for our prestigious client based in Tamworth.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase invoices
• Input invoices and credit notes into Sage accounting software
• Match purchase orders to invoices and reconcile any discrepancies
• Process payments to suppliers in a timely manner
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any outstanding issues
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare and maintain various financial reports related to the purchase ledger
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions and data entry

Requirements:

• Proven experience in purchase ledger management and data entry
• Proficiency in using Sage accounting software or similar accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Familiarity with reconciliation processes and techniques

Hours of Work: Part time across 3 x days (25 hours and flexible on hours to suit / cover school hours etc) This has the potential to go into a full time role if desired

Rate of Pay: £11.44phr
