Your new role
- Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes
- Assign non-PO invoices for approval via Adobe e-signature & code accordingly
- Process approved invoices in the ERP system & allocate digital copies
- Identification of prepayments & accruals
- Checking & coding of employee expenses & company credit cards
- Prepare fortnightly payment runs of supplier invoices and expenses
- Post bank transactions in the ERP system
- Pro-active management of the purchase ledger
- Perform month-end processing tasks and reconciliations
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Ownership of the finance email inbox
- Consider ways to make the purchase ledger function more efficient
- Assist with month end data entry of journals & other ad hoc requirements
- Liaise with external and internal audit
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised with a high attention to detail
- Be able to work well as part of a team
- Be able to self-motivate, manage own workload & be pro-active
- Strong Excel skills (sumifs, vlookups, autofiltering etc)
- Willingness to learn & develop
- Ability to prioritise & meet deadlines
What you'll get in return
- £24,000 - £26,000 annual salary
