Accounts Payable Assistant – Wantage -  £30,000 - £35,000 – Temporary to Permanent

The company

Do you have experience working in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger? Are you available at short notice and looking to work for an impressive business in Oxfordshire?

Our client is hugely successful and continues to grow therefore they need an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis.

You will need to be available immediately or with a short notice period.

What will you be doing ?

Working in a true team environment you will be part of the business and be dealing with:

• Processing high-volume multicurrency invoices
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Payment runs
• Processing expenses
• Posting general ledger journals prepared by other staff
• Ensure invoices are approved and matched to purchase orders
• Setting up new and updating the records of existing suppliers

What experience do you need?

• Solid track record in Accounts Payable in a high-volume environment
• Experience in Multi-Currency invoice processing
• To be successful in the role, you will have previous purchase ledger experience in a similar role (including experience in 3-way GRN approval)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A team player
