Form of workWe are pleased to be working with a consultancy business based in Oxford City Centre that are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team! This is an excellent opportunity to continue developing in a supportive environment with full study support, up to £28,000 + hybrid working .
Key responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices ensuring the correct nominal code is used
- Reconcile supplier accounts and statements
- Leading the resolution of inquiries an issues related to Accounts Payable from both internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and organised Accounts Payable records
- Prepare and process weekly payment run
- Support the Management Accountant with analysis of costs
- Import weekly credit card transactions
- Ensure emails, telephone calls and relevant correspondence are followed up promptly
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the Accounts Payable function
What they're looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative
- Good understanding of Excel (VLOOKUP's and Pivots)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
