Accounts Payable Assistant

Our client is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle & Gardens.

Status: Fixed Term Contract (2 year contract).
Salary: £27,325 per Annum
Days/Hours of work: Full time, 36 hours per week, Monday - Friday

About the role

The Financial Accounting team are looking to appoint a full time Accounts Payable (AP) Assistant to work in a small Accounts Payable Team within Financial Accounting. As part of this team, you will be processing invoices, expenses and processing monthly submissions for the Company corporate card scheme, including preparing journals and dealing with queries. Maintaining supplier information and providing training to non- finance users on the finance system (E financials)

About you

You will have previous experience in a similar position working within an accounting environment with proven knowledge of using a finance system and an understanding of basic accounting principles. You will be an effective communicator with strong numeracy and literacy skills and will have the ability to resolve customer issues and queries in a professional manner. Excellent IT skills are essential as is experience of using financial software. Knowledge of E Financials is desirable.
