The Role:
This is a fantastic new opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join us as we expand. As an Accounts Payable Assistant at Moonbug, you will be critical to managing key stakeholder relationships by being the first point of contact with suppliers and business partnering with internal departments. You will work proactively and methodically, with a strong attention to detail, providing excellent customer service to our internal and external stakeholders to ensure we meet our team deliverables and SLA’s. Responsibilities:
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox. Ensuring a timely and appropriate resolution to all queries received from the business and external suppliers.
- Setting up Vendors in Netsuite and SmartAccounting in accordance with Moonbug's Vendor onboarding policy.
- Processing a high volume of invoices on a daily basis with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reviewing and approving Staff Expense Claims in Concur.
- Reconciling supplier statements to ensure accurate financial records.
- Assist with processing of monthly credit card reconciliations.
- Adhering to month end close timeframes and deliverables.
- Ad hoc duties to support the transactional team.
Requirements
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Attention to detail, good organisational and effective time management skills.
- Problem solving and proactive attitude, with the ability to identify solutions that comply with policies and controls
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with all levels of the business
- Experience using Netsuite would be desirable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a high performing Finance team
