This role is based in City Centre Manchester, offering hybrid working and a salary between £45,000 to £50,000.

With the company going through exciting changes our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager who has experience with implementation, improving processes, driving and leading change and managing a medium to large size team.
Description
Duties Include:
- Supporting and training account payable team leaders and clerks
- Monitoring the Accounts Payable and payment team's performance
- Managing and setting targets for the Accounts Payable team
- Liaising with senior stakeholders across the business and providing updates on the ledger
- Driving and motivating change
- Lead on the implementation of new processes and system changes
- Assisting and supporting with the implementation and training of new systems
- Reporting on KPI's
- Resolving queries in relation to the Accounts Payable and payments function
- Authorising approvals
- Managing the review of supplier statement reconciliation
- Assisting with audit
- Ad hoc duties
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working as an Accounts Payable Manager - essential
- Have experience working within a multi-site organisation or shared service centre - essential
- Have knowledge of the full P2P/PTP process - essential
- Have experience managing and leading a team of 10-18 - essential
- Have experience in assisting with new system implementation processes - essential
