Accounts Payable Manager

A fantastic and stimulating opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager on a permanent basis.

This role is based in City Centre Manchester, offering hybrid working and a salary between £45,000 to £50,000.

With the company going through exciting changes our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager who has experience with implementation, improving processes, driving and leading change and managing a medium to large size team.

Description

Duties Include:

• Supporting and training account payable team leaders and clerks
• Monitoring the Accounts Payable and payment team's performance
• Managing and setting targets for the Accounts Payable team
• Liaising with senior stakeholders across the business and providing updates on the ledger
• Driving and motivating change
• Lead on the implementation of new processes and system changes
• Assisting and supporting with the implementation and training of new systems
• Reporting on KPI's
• Resolving queries in relation to the Accounts Payable and payments function
• Authorising approvals
• Managing the review of supplier statement reconciliation
• Assisting with audit
• Ad hoc duties

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working as an Accounts Payable Manager - essential
• Have experience working within a multi-site organisation or shared service centre - essential
• Have knowledge of the full P2P/PTP process - essential
• Have experience managing and leading a team of 10-18 - essential
• Have experience in assisting with new system implementation processes - essential
