Accounts Payable Manager

An exciting role has opened up for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager. This role is a 12 month FTC, based in Worsley, Salford and offering between £40,000 to £50,000 dependent upon experience

Description

Duties Include:

• Being responsible for leading the Accounts Payable and accounts receivable function
• Leading and overseeing a team of around 16
• Leading and mentoring team members
• Overseeing AP and AR team leaders in their day to day duties
• Delivery of payables at month end
• Delivering vendor statement reconciliations and ledger activity
• Managing work project plans
• Ensuring delivery of process improvements in a timely and accurate manner
• Supporting finance transformation processes
• Maintaining a data base for documents and process maps in relation to Accounts Payable and receivables
• Internal and external audit lead
• Ensuring and overseeing all controls across the transactional function are in place and are of acceptable quality
• Ensuring and overseeing all deadlines are met regarding the Accounts Payable and receivable functions
• Communicate and liaise with senior stakeholders
• Ad hoc duties

• Have previous experience within an Accounts Payable Manager position - essential

• Have intermediate excel skills - pivot tables and v look ups - essential

Job Offer

This role is offering a salary between £40,000 to £50,000 (dependent upon experience) + hybrid working + free parking + exposure to working within a successfully growing and changing business.
