A rapidly expanding international business based in London is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their Finance team as soon as possible for a period of up to 6 months, with the possibility of extension. To be successful in this role you will have consistent Accounts Payable Management knowledge and experience. The successful individual will be able to meet the expected demands of the business, provide a high quality service to the business and suppliers and be able to hit the ground running. This role is fully office based and the hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
Accounts Payable Manager - About The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for the prompt payment of all company suppliers. Key duties include:
- Overseeing a team of two Accounts Payable Assistants
- Accurate coding and posting of supplier invoices
- Resolution of supplier queries escalated by the team
- Processing weekly supplier BACS payments
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Completion of relevant bank reconciliations
- Liaison with budget holders regarding payments
The successful Accounts Payable Manager will have:
- Relevant Accounts Payable Management experience gained at a senior/supervisory level
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
