McBride Sport are working with London based sports entity looking to hire an AP Specialist to take the role of Transactions Manager.
THE ROLE:
The role will be based in the financial transactions team, reporting into the Head of Transactions and VP of Finance. The primary responsibility will be overseeing the transactions function for a number of small teams in addition to taking ownership of various treasury procedures and collaborating with the finance and technology teams to enhance reports, processes, and policies. The key focus requires an AP Specialist with start up experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Manage banking relationships and transactions to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Oversee the processing and reimbursement of employee expenses in accordance with company policies.

- Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to support day-to-day tasks as needed.
THE PERSON:
- Experience of working in a start up organisation
- Knowledge of SAP and US banking preferred
- Proven experience in financial management, with a focus on transaction functions.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury procedures.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced transactional finance role.
- Familiarity with financial technology and the ability to leverage it for process enhancements.
