Accounts Receivable Assistant

Robertson Bell have recently partnered with this fantastic organisation based in Wrexham, as they go to market for a permanent Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their team. This exciting opportunity will suit a driven candidate who is AAT qualified or is currently studying towards their AAT qualification and has sales ledger exposure.

The Accounts Receivable Assistant’s responsibilities will include:

• Processing and raising all sales orders, sales invoices, and credit notes.
• Manage all aspects of credit control, including chasing customers for payment.
• Be responsible for ensuring all income is accurately recorded on the accounting system and that all customer receipts are collected in accordance with the financial regulations, procedures and controls.
• Collect overdue accounts an negotiate payments plans with customers and arrange refunds when necessary.

The successful candidate will have:

• An AAT qualification or be actively studying towards obtaining an AAT qualification.
• 2 years of strong sales ledger experience and ability to pay strong attention to detail.
• Excellent numerical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player, willing to lend a helping hand and assist with solving complex problems.
• Willingness to learn and gain further exposure in the finance field.
