Our Finance team in Waltham, MA is looking for an Accounts Receivable & Billing Issues Specialist to join their team on a 6m FTC basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong team-player with a good all-round understanding and experience in collections and who is keen to deliver excellent customer service.
Your role involves:
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure the accuracy of billing information, and resolving issues
- You will have experience working in Accounts Receivable and are familiar with Excel, specifically VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Find and correct invoices inconsistencies, errors and resolve within Oracle.
- Preparing credit notes and re-issue invoices
- Maintaining and updating records where required.
- Run reports as required to support the Credit Controllers
- Consistently address customer queries within 24 hours, liaising with relevant departments if necessary
- Complete knowledge and understanding of credits hold release criteria.
- Experience reconciling accounts
Qualifications
You will have experience working in Accounts Receivable and are familiar with Excel, specifically VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. You have used an accounting system before, preferably Oracle or similar. You possess the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be dealing with customers both internal and external daily.
You can work to tight deadlines and keep accurate up to date notes. You have a very strong level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have efficient multitasking and time management skills. You have experience maintaining and updating records.
