AddressAnderson Knight is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Senior for one of our key clients who are a highly respected and well-renowned Accountancy Firm based in Glasgow.
This will suit an ambitious individual who is looking for progression as my client would like the person to naturally progress into a management role further down the line.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of year-end financial statements for a variety of clients
- Management of client accounts and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Preparation of corporation tax returns and VAT returns
- Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team
- Liaising with clients to address queries and provide advice on financial matters
- Assisting with ad hoc projects and assignments as required
Requirements:
- Part-qualified accountant ACCA / CA
- Previous experience working in a similar role within an accountancy firm
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to meet tight deadlines
