About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Development: Design and coordinate an innovative Adult and Community Learning (ACL) programme to support integrated and resilient communities in Greenwich.
- Manage Team: Managing staff and Observations and Learning Walks
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with key community organisations to develop responsive programmes that meet local needs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality training programmes, conducting quality assurance and teaching duties in line with Colleges standards.
- Learner Support: Act as the first point of contact for students, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with the Employment Co-ordinator to maintain smooth operations at the Greenwich Park campus, including health and safety requirements.
Duties Include:
- Developing and coordinating all ACL curriculum activities.
- Monitoring learner progress, tracking, and assessment cycles.
- Liaising with the Quality Team and Quality Improvement Leader.
- Enhancing learner recruitment in collaboration with the Employer Engagement and Innovation team.
- Supporting colleagues in the production of the annual Self-Assessment Report.
- Deputising for the Innovation and Recruitment Manager when necessary.
Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementing internal quality assurance of assessment activities.
- Sampling assessment decisions and ensuring consistency across the team.
- Observing teaching and assessor practices, providing constructive feedback.
- Organizing standardisation meetings and promoting best practices.
- Liaising with awarding bodies and standards verifiers as required.
About You:
- Strong knowledge of qualification frameworks, subject specifications, and assessment procedures.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with community organizations.
- Experience in quality assurance and teaching.
- Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
