Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading life insurer seeking a part-qualified pensions actuary to join their Collateral and Reinsurance Management team in London.
You will focus on managing the arrangements agreed following a Defined Benefit Pension Risk Transfer deal. You will support the Actuarial Manager in providing post-sale monitoring and calculations relating to buy-in/out pricing, reinsurance, longevity insurance and collateral arrangements. You will also assist with the on-boarding of new PRT reinsurance arrangements, including reviewing, and providing comments to draft contracts and models.
Role requirements:
- Part-qualified actuary making strong progress with the actuarial exams
- Solid knowledge of Defined Benefit Pension schemes
- High attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading life insurer in the highly sought after area of reinsurance. The size and scale of the business means there is plenty of scope for the successful candidate to move laterally in across the business, as well as progress very quickly within their growing CRIM team.
