Admin Assistant
14-16 Direct Entry
Permanent vacancy - 37 hours per week
£22,879 per annum
As our new Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a professional administration and clerical service to the department, with a clear focus on helping to ensure accurate data to support decision making and facilitate compliance to College processes and procedures. You will be based at our front reception desk in our Direct Entry Campus just outside of the town centre. This provision is aimed at young people who are motivated by a more practical curriculum.
As part of your role, you will be responsible for covering front of house activities such as welcoming students, staff and visitors, whilst also dealing with any enquiries. The college prides itself on our support and commitment to providing students with an excellent learning experience, and for us this starts as soon as they enter our building and are greeted by our fantastic staff.
We are looking for an Administrator with previous experience in a similar role. This post will suit a self-motivated individual that is quality and target driven with excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and who is enthusiastic in their approach to work. Previous experience of Management Information Systems (MIS) and working within an educational establishment is desirable, although not essential.
