Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in office software and sage, and possess strong organizational abilities. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various administrative tasks to support daily operations including input of sales orders and placing supplier orders.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with data entry, typing, and maintaining accurate records
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks supporting company accountant.
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
- knowledge of sage for basic bookkeeping tasks
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Accurate typing and data entry skills
- Exceptional organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
