The Governors of Rise Park Primary are looking to appoint an Administration Assistant who will embrace working in our dynamic and vibrant school office.
The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, ICT and communication skills with knowledge of school systems (although training will be given). We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and parents and should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
We are looking for an Administration Assistant who is able to:
apply their knowledge and skills from previous work experience and ideally a related further education qualification e.g. NVQ Business Administration or similar to provide efficient administrative support to the school;
comply with the appropriate Government, Local Authority (LA) and the school policies, procedures and systems;
provide a warm friendly welcome for parents/visitors both face to face and on the phone. Able to respond to their requests in a timely and professional manner, able to also carry out security/safeguarding checks;
follow the requisite procedures and legislation regarding confidential information, e.g. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);
utilise intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programmes to fulfil requirements of the role.
undertake basic financial processes and thus should have good numeracy skills
take pride in their work and their contribution to the school aims and ethos.
