My client is a modern, straight-talking, ambitious law firm delivering a range of commercial and personal services to clients from the individual entrepreneur and small family business to some of the UK's most successful companies and well-known brands.
They have a new opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to join their Business Support team in a varied role that provides support and cover across the Office Services function.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Opening and scanning of post for relevant departments
- Collection/distribution of post and internal itemsdard and non-standard letters
- Photocopying/scanning/binding of documents and plans as directed
- Ensuring photocopiers are clean and filled and reporting equipment faults to IT
- Assisting with office/desk moves and setting up desks for new employees
- Sorting and stamping DX mail/franking mail
- Completing daily checklists to ensure service levels are kept to the highest standard
- Ensuring the offices are kept tidy and stocked
- Dealing with courier requests/contractors
- Undertaking minor maintenance work within the office in the form of basic DIY tasks
- Ordering of stationery and assisting with unloading and storage of deliveries within General Office and distribution throughout the office
- Collecting and delivering boxes and files to and from the external storage units
- Variety of monthly tasks including some Health & Safety monitoring
- Assisting with the setup of events and large meetings
- Assisting with file destruction
- Assisting with scanning of documents
- Updating case management system.
You will need:
- Full clean driving licence
- Ability to work at either Leeds or Bradford office as required
- Working in a busy office environment – essential
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
- People skills
- Professional manner.
