About the Role:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the team at Longmead Depot for Dorset Council in Shaftesbury. This role is temporary with an initial contract length of 3 months. The position offers a flexible shift pattern, with standard working hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, totalling 37 hours per week. Part-time applicants will also be considered.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Speaking to residents on the phone, responding to emails, and handling other enquiries
- Producing reports for the depot supervisors
- Providing administrative support to the depot supervisors
- Managing a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 months previous administration experience
- GCSE grade C in Maths & English
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Excellent office-based IT skills
- Ability to take accurate notes of meetings and produce minutes.
- Excellent customer care skills
