Administration Assistant - Bournemouth - Temp - £12 per hour
An Administration Assistant is required for our client based in Bournemouth to join the team on a temporary basis. The main aspect of the role is to be the first point of contact for enquiries into the Registry and to support the team managing the student administration functions.
Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8:45am - 5pm.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk ensuring that all visitors are met with a warm welcome and dealt with efficiently
- Be the primary contact for student requests regarding documentation consisting of confidential information
- Escalate enquires to the relevant staff member and deal with a range of enquires efficiently and effectively
- Maintain the procurement process for the school and registry which includes stock control, stationary requirements and updating budget spreadsheets
- Manage all conference bookings, accommodation and travel arrangements
- Assist the timetable manager with inputting of timetable data
- Assist the course administrators with the inputting of assessment marks into the student record system
- Assisting the enrolment and induction events including preparation for graduation
- Other general ad hoc duties
Skills required:
- Excellent standard of communication, written and verbal
- Great interpersonal skills
- Experience using Microsoft office programmes including good knowledge of Excel
- Experience working in a customer focused environment
- Able to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work under pressure
- High attention to detail
