Administration Assistant £20812 - £21189 FTE (Actual £13498 - £13652)27.5 hours per week TTO plus 1 week (39 weeks)Start Date: 1st March 2024 (or as soon as possible after)We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join our fantastic school as an Administration Assistant, to provide support with the administrative and organisational processes within the school. The role will also be responsible for co-ordinating Educational Visits and Work Experience. They will also act as the initial point of contact for parents, visitors and other stakeholders so will be an ambassador for the school and embody the value, vision and ethos of the school in all interactions.The working hours for this role are approximately 9am to 3pm (27.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday and term time only (plus 1 week).Rugby High School is a successful, calm, respectful and welcoming school, it is a delightful environment in which to work. We currently have 935 students on roll who are all motivated, well-behaved and value their education. The appointed candidate will have a varied and busy day, working in a school with a strong tradition of academic success, pastoral care, and extra-curricular enrichment. Key responsibilities include: Deal with telephone and face-to-face enquiries efficiently and in a professional and supportive manner Seek support from other colleagues where necessary to respond to complex enquiries Respond to messages promptly and accurately, passing on information to relevant staff members as necessary Assist staff and pupils with the information and support they need Update manual and computerised record/information systems Assist with managing the school's email inbox, ensuring the school meets its expected response times and emails are forwarded to the relevant staff member as necessary Manage and organise completed forms from parents Report any issues with the school's IT systems Organise and distribute incoming and outgoing post when required Provide administrative support to staff as needed Order, monitor and manage stock, ensuring best value following the school's purchasing processes Carry out filing, printing and photocopying.
