About the role
In this post you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school's administrative functions and providing excellent customer service to our visitors, students, and staff. This will include welcoming visitors and enquirers to the School, providing information and assistance in accordance with relevant regulations, and maintaining a tidy and presentable reception area.
Furthermore, you will collaborate across the School to support the delivery of cross-functional objectives and ensure activities and events across the campus are accurately recorded and up to date. You will also maintain security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk, assist with room bookings, and support health and safety matters, including fire safety procedures.
In addition to these specific responsibilities, you will undertake general duties such as offering assistance in the preparation of documents and data processing, answering and processing phone calls and other correspondence. You will also be responsible for ordering stationery and other goods, overseeing printing facilities, reporting maintenance issues to Estates, and ensuring compliance with regulations, including Health and Safety.
About you
With experience in a similar administrative role, strong organisational and time management skills, you will have excellent communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are key.
