Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain purchase order and related logs with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Process purchase orders efficiently using computer systems.
- Manage attendance timesheets to ensure accurate records.
- Maintain various data records within our ISO9001 systems.
- Assist with adhoc typing and filing tasks as needed.
- Prepare special delivery advice paperwork and distribute to relevant departments and customers.
- Process sales orders and handle sales invoicing.
- Maintain spreadsheet records for regular management reports.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post.
- Assist with purchase ledger and debit note processing.
- Answer the switchboard and direct calls as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with current legislation and company Environmental, Health & Safety procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Previous administration experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work patterns and business demands.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and support team members.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly spreadsheets, and demonstrated organisational abilities.
- Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
