*This is a Full Time Admin role working 5 days over 6 (Saturday not required)*
We are recruiting for a Clerk with a hands on approach working across the People and Safety Team within our Warehouse operation newly opened in Fareham. In the role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the administration of your departments is completed as well as supporting the department with any operational activities as required. There will also be times when you will need to support the Warehouse team.
You’ll work closely with the People and Safety Advisors to ensure all paperwork within your team is completed accurately and in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be an advocate for Health & Safety and ensure that all Warehouse Operatives are communicated to with relevant information, and support with accurate training records.
Monitoring of colleague/canteen area with replenishment control and banking.
Support the investigation paperwork of accidents, incidents and other aspects of safety admin as required.
Dealing with Recruitment support, onboarding of colleagues admin as required within the people function including ordering of uniform.
Report dangerous stacking, racking damage, obstructions and any other danger or irregularities immediately to a manager.
Assist in the issue of any paperwork, documentation as required from both a people and safety perspective.
Undergo any training when required by the Company.
Any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business.
Numeracy and literacy
Proven knowledge and use of Office 365 and SAP
Experience within safety and people admin roles would be advantageous
Flexible and versatile approach
Able to produce quality standard of work
Good PC and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure
