The NHNN Therapy Department is looking to recruit an Administration Coordinator to work in the administration team supporting the NHNN Therapy teams and support the department Education and Development programme.
The post holder will have a degree of autonomy to ensure that deadlines are met and a proactive approach is taken to day-to-day management of supporting a busy clinical department and assisting Education and training projects for the NHNN Therapy teams.
The post holder will have key working relationships with all members of the administrative and clinical teams including allied health professionals, support workers, and liaison with nursing and medical colleagues. They will act as the first point of contact (in phone and email) in communication with the public, patients and other external hospital staff.
The post holder will be responsible for escalating and troubleshooting issues to the Therapy Administrator and will contribute to finding proactive solutions to routine issues.
The post holder will need to have the ability to manage a busy and varied workload. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills are essential to be successful in the role.
The Administration Coordinator will actively manage the administrative processes attached to Therapy staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for both the multidisciplinary team and patients, in order to deliver a high-quality administration service, a positive experience for those who are contacting the department, and excellent customer service.
The post also supports in the coordination and running of post graduate education run by the department.

Provide an efficient and effective administrative service to a multidisciplinary team.
Actively manage administrative processes and coordinate care associated with patient pathways, bookings and solving queries that arise.
Ensure targets are met, identifying potential delays and escalating this to a team leader or supervisor.
Provide patients with a primary point of contact between the multidisciplinary team and their colleagues, patients, relatives and GPs, providing relevant information and assisting with queries.
Support Education projects for Therapy and Rehabilitation team.
