We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our multi-award-winning team. We offer a fantastic working environment with a strong remuneration package. The Role
An exciting and challenging opportunity awaits an organised and flexible individual to work within an environmental consultancy business, supporting the administration department and our team of consultants. The successful candidate will perform a variety of office-based administration duties to assist with the day to day running of the business, including:
- Answering and directing phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
- Assisting with enquiries, actioning emails and/or forwarding these to the relevant member of staff.
- Raising sales invoices.
- Producing quotes and following up.
- Maintaining equipment register and arranging maintenance for reported faults.
- Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders as needed.
- Maintaining electronic databases and hard copy filing systems.
- Handling general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, scanning and mailing.
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following skill set:
- Strong IT skills (to include a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office).
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Able to prioritise own workload to meet the requirements of colleagues, projects and clients.
- Proficient in data entry with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Willing to follow instructions and learn with a positive attitude.
- Be a personable, friendly team player.
The role is office-based (no home-working), working from our office at Ball Mill Top Business Park, just outside Hallow, Worcester. The position is offered as a full-time role (37.5hrs per week), a reduced hour contract may be negotiable for the right candidate. However, working Tuesday and Fridays will be necessary to compliment current staffing arrangements.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (9am – 5pm, with 30min lunch break)
Salary: National Living Wage: £11.44 per hour
