Award-winning, Yorkshire-based GARY CLARKE COMPANY seeks a dynamic, experienced, and effective Administrative Director to be a key member of its growing team. This full-time, senior position is responsible for the organisation’s finance, HR, administration, governance and funder reporting, and day-to-day operations. The role is ideally suited to an experienced individual who is keen to work collaboratively as part of a small, highly professional, values-led team, as well as independently when required.
GARY CLARKE COMPANY, renowned for high impact, high quality, and high legacy dance theatre, tours extensively to middle scale venues across the UK. We nurture new partners and touring networks at home and abroad, most recently with our critically acclaimed productions COAL and WASTELAND.
As a new Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, we are moving from an efficient project-by-project organisation that regularly exceeds its targets, to a year-round operation delivering a high-quality programme. The Administrative Director will be key to achieving this.
GARY CLARKE COMPANY is dedicated to putting marginalised and working-class communities at the heart of all our work and to producing the highest quality dance theatre. We actively encourage applications from those with less visibility in the arts and particularly welcome applications from global majority candidates and people from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.
