The Scottish Government Rural Payments and Inspections Division (SGRPID) is responsible for payment of agricultural grants and subsidiesArea offices throughout Scotland ensure compliance with regulations and provide advice and informationThis role is part of the busy front office team in the Inverness Area Office

Responsibilities
• Delivering high quality customer service through accurate administration and inspection of subsidy claims• Providing professional advice and information to Scottish Ministers, the general public, and colleagues• Being the main point of contact with farmers, crofters, and other interested parties• Processing applications and claims• Assessing information submitted on applications• Handling enquiries from both internal and external customers• Performing general administrative duties• Maintaining spreadsheet information• Using IT systems, including Microsoft Office Products• Filing and acknowledgement of mail
Requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Strong planning and organizational skills• Experience working as part of a team• Ability to use a variety of IT systems, including Microsoft Office Products
