Duties:

Provide School reception cover in person and on the phone. Includes taking messages for the Inclusion Manager.
Direct calls.
Photocopying duties.
Monitor and check in visitors - manage who is in school, where they are/should be. Includes checking ID at the door before they come into school.
Attendance - overall responsibility for the register.
Record children coming in late or sickness.
Dinner ordering and monitoring parent balances.
Open post 
Take messages and children's belongings (or food) to classrooms - if dropped off by parents.

Use the school MIS (Management Information System) this is INTEGRIS. Pupil records.
Learn to use this and obtain basic reports.

Use Parent mail - another communication tool and accounting system.
Learn to use the Purchase ordering system through OCC 

Recording cheques in the income book to go to the post office for banking
