Business Support Administrator
Burford, Oxfordshire
£26,000 – £28,000 pa

✅ 9 am – 4 pm Monday to Friday
✅ 1 pm finish on Fridays
✅ 35 Hours Per Week

The Burford Recruitment Company are working in partnership with a successful property business that acquires, develops and manages an ever-expanding portfolio of commercial, industrial, residential and retail properties.

Our client is looking for a Business Support Administrator to join their team located near Burford. The role involves all the administrative challenges of supporting a business and handling diverse projects and programs. You will be a key player in the team supporting the Office and Accounts Manager with the day-to-day running of the office with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for suppliers; taking calls and handling emails.
Accounts:
  • Purchase ledger – processing of supplier invoices.
  • Preparation & management of the purchase ledger payment schedule.
  • Managing the supplier accounts; and actively resolving any queries.
  • Sales ledger – processing of customer invoices & managing the timely receipt of payments.
  • Credit Control – managing the debtors and securing receipts on time
Payroll:
  • Manage the company’s holiday and absence calendar, verifying timesheets and preparing payroll.
Marketing & Business Development:
  • Working with the Marketing & Business Development team; researching contacts, creating marketing material/emailers and associated activities.
  • To undertake any other duties within reason as directed by the Directors.

Qualifications

  • Ideally educated to A level or equivalent; or established/proven experience in a similar position/environment as required by the position.
  • Strong literacy and numerical skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office; word, and excel.
  • Experience in Xero Accounting Software would be beneficial.
  • Experience in Hubspot CRM sales & marketing software would be helpful.
  • Experience in Property Management would be an advantage.
