SALARY: £12.09 Basic
DURATION:Temp to Perm
HOURS: 20 hours per week
(Mon, Tues, Wed 9am – 5pm)
Daily Duties
- Supporting the Facilities department with general administration duties.
- The Administrator will be responsible for providing an administrative service including responding to enquiries from the public, maintaining financial records, including raising invoices and inputting weekly finance information into an electronic accounting system.
- The successful candidate will coordinate hall bookings and maintain supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels and anticipating needs.
- Ensure all health & safety standards are met and good records are kept, the successful candidate will manage safeguarding requirements, risk assessments and record keeping for the Corps.
Essential requirements
- DBS within the last 12 months (must have original copy)
- Working knowledge of IT systems (Microsoft Office, Teams (including Word/Excel).
- Ability to work with numbers and money and to apply for funding grants.
- Good interpersonal skills and have experience of working in an office environment carrying out tasks such as filing, typing, minute taking and organising workload, as well as a good working knowledge of MS Office programmes.
- Good interpersonal, written skills, leadership and management skills and be able to evidence an enthusiastic and creative approach to problem solving.
