We have an opening for an Administrator to join our client, Buckinghamshire Council.Job Title - Admin Support OfficerTemporary - 3-6 months with potential to extendLocation - Fully office based at Walton Street, AylesburyHours: Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:30pmPay Rate - £14.18 per hourStart Date - ASAPAbout the roleAs an Administrator, you will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
  • Undertake a range of routine administrative tasks specific to the service area, prioritising them as directed and working within approved procedures.
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Provide a frontline customer response service and resolve basic queries.
  • Send out routine communications, issue reminders and chase responses.
  • Collate, record, store and retrieve data and information as required
This is a temporary position for 3-6 months, though there is potential for this to be extended further. The pay rate is £14.18 per hour, and you will be working full time, 37 hours per week from the Walton Street office in Aylesbury.About youThe successful candidate(s) should have:
  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Good computer skills and communication skills
  • Local Authority experience is beneficial but not necessary
