SalaryThis role is permanent and office based, working Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm, is office based and is offering a salary of £24-26k per annum dependent on experience.
As Administrator you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration within the raw materials department. You will be a support for the Raw Materials Manager and be required to work closely with various departments, as well as external customers and suppliers. Your duties will cover the following:
- Answering any queries into the site via phone or email
- Daily communication with Raw material suppliers and hauliers
- Various data entry using a variety of applications
- Answering invoice queries
- General administrative duties as required
- Placing orders onto the computerised system as advised by the Raw Materials Manager
- Providing cover when the Raw Material Manager is away.
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in an Administrator role within a fast paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required
- Pleasant telephone manner in order to speak with suppliers and customers
- Good keyboarding and data entry skills
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be useful but not essential
- Proven ability to learn quickly, using your own initiative, with little supervision
- Proven organisational skills, including time management and prioritisation
- Numerate and analytical with an eye for detail
