Brook Street are proud to advertise a temporary part-time position for an Administrator for our public sector client - location: Poole
The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision.
Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
- Responsible for collating and accurately entering fishing activity on to client in-house system. Checking electronic and catch recording data is accurate
- Actively chasing missing/late paper and electronic fishing logs
- Day to day administrative support; ensuring incoming/outgoing mail is recorded and processed; including looking after the local shared mailbox
- Answering telephone queries, taking messages and passing to the correct person and logging all calls on the contact log system
- Dealing with personal callers to the office
- General office filing
Full training in the role will be given. The successful candidate will be expected to work in the Poole Office.
Typical qualifications and experience:
- Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
- NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
- Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
Pay rate: 12.42/hour, this role is part-time, 16 hrs/week over 4 days, work on site
Location: The Quay, Poole, BH15 1HP
Start date: vetting pending, temporary on going assignment
End of assignment: 17/05/24
