Adult Social Care Administrator
Part Time – 25 Hours Per Week
We have a fantastic opportunity available for an Adult Social Care Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team in Adult Social Services on a permanent, part-time basis.
As the Adult Social Care Administrator, you will play a key role in providing high quality administrative support across Adult Social care and ensure its smooth running and delivery of its statutory obligations.
Our Adult Social Care teams undertake direct work with customers who have a learning disability, physical disability, long term conditions, young carers and people transitioning into adulthood and older people.
The main aim of the service is to enable people to live safely in the community, maximising their strengths and abilities to live as independently as they can, and supporting carers to continue in their caring role as long as they wish to and are able to.

Key responsibilities:
- To provide administrative support to Adult Social Care as required.
- To receive enquiries via WBC communication systems including telephone and email.
- Support professional meetings, including any panels, through co-ordination, preparing the agenda, papers and taking formal minutes / note taking as appropriate.
- To raise requests for goods and services, keeping a record of all expenditure, setting up purchase orders and processing invoices for payment.
- To arrange meetings and book appointments.
- To establish and maintain administrative procedures and systems, liaise with appropriate stakeholders, and escalate concerns as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5 GCSE Level (A*-C) to include English or equivalent (or appropriate experience)
- Proficient MS Officer and ability learn new systems as required.
- Previous experience of working in a customer facing role.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good Organisational Skills.
- Confident and polite telephone manner.
