A look into the role
Henderson Wholesale is a leading Wholesaler in Northern Ireland and supplies goods to over 450 stores across various brands such as SPAR, EUROSPAR and VIVO. We source from local farmers, growers and producers and are proud to contribute to our local economy and environment. We achieved Gold accreditation against the Investors in People standard framework in 2023 in recognition of people management excellence and our commitment to investment in people.
The successful applicant will utilise the Warehouse Management System to provide comprehensive inbound administration service to the Logistics of Henderson Wholesale, specifically within the Fresh foods department.
Working as Logistics Administrator – Inbound you will:
- Support the inbound receiving team by preparing and organising receiving documents.
- Act as a first point of contact for inbound drivers and assist with inbound queries.
- Communicate externally with hauliers/suppliers to ensure accurate and on time delivery.
- Provide updates to warehouse management and replenishment team on inbound issues.
- Support outbound operations by assisting with order processing. Maintaining Excel documents accurately.
Skills for Success
Joining us as Logistics Administrator – Inbound the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
- 5 GCSE’s A-C (or equivalent), to include Maths and English.
- Previous administration experience.
- Proven knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
The Attributes you’ll need include:
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Highly numerate and literate, skilled in attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to work (Internally and externally to the business)
- Effective organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise work and escalate where necessary.
It is Desirable if you have:
- 2 A Levels or Equivalent
- Previous experience in an FMCG environment, particularly within inbound operations.
- Experiencing working with a Warehouse Management System.

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week. Working hours will be 7am-3pm Monday to Thursday and 7am-3:30pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
