The role
As an Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be the face of Cavendish at a brand-new office based in Preston for delivery of new project.
Day to day, you'll undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties within a department to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Process a wide range of documents and information received from a range of sources, including reconcile records to ensure accuracy of data and the system.
- Identify and carry out initial investigation into discrepancies and shortages, involving statistical information, document control or physical stock control.
- Collate and extract data and produce routine reports, schedules, summaries and letters for internal circulation or for customers and suppliers.
- Build relations with stakeholders, customers and suppliers and exchange information in order to clarify a situation, e.g. placing orders, arranging appointments, deliveries, etc.
This is a full-time role based in Preston, Lancashire with 37 hours per week. Negotiable hybrid to be developed to three days in the office per week and may be required to go into the office more frequently, some weeks.
Essential experience of the Administrator:
- Excellent communication skills and be able to use a computer for word processing and spreadsheets.
- Trained to use of Microsoft Office & switchboard for cover purposes.
Qualifications for the Administrator:
- Qualified to GCSE level in a minimum of English, and/or NVQ Level 2 in Administration.
As an Administrator working at our Preston, Lancashire site, you will be required to achieve BPSS (needs D&A test but not to initially start) security clearance for this role.
