Watsons Solicitors require a full-time administrative assistant, to provide support across all departments. The role involves providing cover on reception at lunchtime (and occasionally to cover holiday and sickness absence), opening and archiving files, scanning and distributing incoming post, and scanning/photocopying as necessary. Excellent client care is required, as the role will involve face-to-face and telephone contact with clients. The role will occasionally require accompanying solicitors on home visits to witness signatures. Ability to provide secretarial support would be beneficial.
Key requirements:
· Good level of computer literacy, including an understanding of Microsoft Office
· Confident and professional manner when using the telephone or seeing clients
· Ability to use initiative and work as a team member
· Understanding when to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
· Positive attitude
Due to witnessing requirements, as well as the sensitive and/or and confidential nature of work involved, the applicant must be 18 or over.
35 hours 9am-5pm
