As an experienced solicitor this person will carry out work in the Legal Services Division, with particular emphasis on Adult Social Care law and Court of Protection cases, the team also covers education law queries. They will provide legal advice and assistance, including representing the Council at court, tribunals, inquiries and such other forums at which the Council requires representation and may also be advising the Council at committee meetings and panels
- Qualified and registered solicitor with significant relevant professional experience.
- Have a sound understanding of Adult Social Care and Court of Protection law and demonstrate knowledge of Data Protection.
- Demonstrable experience of managing a complex caseload and be an experienced advocate.
