- Airport Support Team Manager
- Based at Manchester Airport
- £41,380 per annum (inclusive of 17.5% shift allowance)
- Permanent Positions - Full Time Hours (42hrs)
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights, covering a 24/7 operation - including weekends and bank holidays)

- Deploy resources in accordance with pre-determined plans, or dynamically on the day as required by the airport operation, driving the performance and productivity of the team, whilst ensuring service standards and the health, safety and well-being of colleagues and customers is maintained at all times.
- Oversee employee relations matters of your team and undertake Colleague Achievement Reviews and Colleague briefings to ensure the team remain fully engaged and colleagues perform at their best.
- Recording and reporting operational information concerning the deployment, productivity and effectiveness of the team
- Participating in operational coordination meetings, alongside operational duty managers and the Incident Management Team.
- Working in partnership and alongside both MAG and 3rd party colleagues.
- Proven experience of leading and managing a large team in a service delivery environment.
- People management skills, including the ability to inspire others to contribute their best.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to give clear direction and constructive feedback, developing two-way communication.
- Good level of analytical skills and the ability to effectively forward plan, to ensure we consistently deliver exceptional service to all guests.
- Communicate in a way that instils pride and bring an air of enthusiasm that encourages attention to detail resulting in a job well done.
- First class customer service skills – able to demonstrate experience of building effective, lasting professional relationships with customers.
- Investigatory and report writing skills, able to decipher a sequence of events or circumstances and report on any findings.
- Experience of dealing with HR issues to include performance, grievances and disciplinary.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Prepared to work in all weather conditions
- Previous airport operations experience would be advantageous
