Aluminium Stock Controller

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Aluminium Stock Controller to join our team at our Corby manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in stock control, production batching, and a keen eye for maintaining quality standards.
General Responsibilities:

• Organise and control all Ali profiles, batch jobs for production, and conduct daily profile checks.
• Update and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), stock reports, and perform general duties as required.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Ensure health & safety best practices are maintained and adhered to.
2. Maintain adherence to quality standards, including ISO9001.
3. Implement and sustain best practice housekeeping, including 5S principles.
4. Oversee profile purchasing and conduct weekly stock checks.
5. Manage production batching to optimise work flow efficiency.
6. Perform quarterly stock checks to ensure accuracy and availability.
7. Proficient in Excel to effectively manage data and reports.
8. Identify areas of concern and implement corrective actions through effective problem-solving.
9. Maintain optimal stock levels to achieve On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) requirements.
10. Undertake any other duties as required that are appropriate to the operation of the Production department.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in stock control and production batching.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 quality standards.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
