Our client's UK display team, based in Corby, are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller, working a rotating 2 shift pattern, reporting to the Logistics Manager.

Working as a key member of the Logistics team you will manage the space / stocks and flow of the goods in/out operation. Working closely with the Production, Logistics & Commercial teams identifying any potential delays or issues that could impact production and customer requirements.

Ensuring stock is stored safely and in the correct location, capturing movements on vision.

Working within Company Health & Safety requirements at all times.

Key job requirements

Working as a key member of the logistics team this role will be responsible for:

• Maintaining FLT daily safety checks and operate within company procedures. Operate FLT to load & unload vehicles in a safe manner.
• Creating relevant documents within vision, labels, pick sheets and delivery notes. Ensuring system integrity is maintained.
• Managing goods in/out operation schedules, ensuring all running on time and quantities correct.
• Wrapping & Strapping Pallets.
• Picking and issuing machine pool board using vision.
• Housekeeping- ensure warehouse and yard are maintained to BRC standard.
• Ensuring stock is controlled in an organised, controlled manner, vision to be updated accurately.
• Routine stock checks- Monthly and spot checks.
• Providing assistance in other areas when required.
• Working within guidelines of company certificates.
• Actively engaging and participating in all elements of Health and Safety requirements, whilst utilising the Health and Safety systems available.

• Display Business and product knowledge is essential
• FLT training or willing to receive training
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Flexible working to provide holiday cover and operational support
• Competence on vision
• Attention to detail required
• Calm, considered and fair at all times. A positive “can do” attitude towards overcoming problems identified with a keen desire to find solutions. Ability to think ahead and plan while ensuring existing controls are always maintained.
