THE COMPANY:
This is a well-known, household name brand in the retail sector, currently transforming its website and platform to offer a user-friendly and pain-free journey to all customers! As a result, with an increased online offering and more distribution of online orders, the Supply Chain analytics team will be essential in keeping things running smoothly.
WHAT WILL YOU GET TO DO?
As the Supply ChainAnalytics Manager, you will be:
- Taking operational and Supply Chain data to a new level, revamping reporting and automating things to increase efficiency
- Line managing a team of 2 analysts and overseeing others, helping to plan their technical progression and their input in analytical and automation projects
- Analysing data across operations, Supply Chain, distribution, and scoping out the future of this analytics team in the business
- Further down the line, build out this team as required to work across forecasting demand, promotion planning, and distribution and delivery as part of wider Supply Chain analytics
- Liaising with stakeholders across the business (from customer analytics, marketing, sales, finance, warehouse and distributions) to understand requirements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- Excellent skills in SQL for data work and analysis
- Strong skills in data visualisation, including the creation and automation of reports, preferably Power BI as this is what you'll be using in-role
- Prior experience and understanding of Supply Chain analytics, across distribution, logistics, forecasting and demand planning
- Previous line management experience
- Preferably from a retail background or understanding of the retail industry
