Role description:
Our Apprenticeship programme offers you an exciting opportunity to jump straight into the professional world and earn a living whilst also studying for professional qualifications. As an Apprentice you will play an active part in driving your career development and will be exposed to a variety of projects across the business. Technical experience is key in our sector, which is why we will provide you with a clear framework to work towards chartership. You’ll be part of a supportive Early Careers community and will work alongside skilled professionals. You’ll benefit from structured on-the-job training, mentoring, plus funding and support for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the assistance you need to develop and succeed.

Role accountabilities:
Our Project Controls personnel work at the very heart of projects, making sure that teams and clients work together efficiently, have clear direction and are enabled to do their best work. You’ll be supported as you take responsibility for delivering industry-defining work that truly transforms the world and improves quality of life. The Project Controls programme at Arcadis is perfect for apprentices aspiring to become key players in the delivery of major construction and engineering projects, utilising their communication, digital, and coordination skills to steer project teams to success. On this apprenticeship you will complete the BSc Construction & the Built Environment SCQF level 10 framework with Heriot Watt university.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Be a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least three years prior to starting the course and have the right to work in the UK.
- 18 years old and have left full time education when the apprenticeship starts.
- Have gained a minimum of 4 National Level 5 qualifications, grade 4-9 Including Maths and English and SQA Highers at ABBB or equivalent, or A-Levels at ABC or BBB or equivalent or a combination of qualifications totalling 96 SCQF credits at level 6, or Minimum 126 UCAS points.
- You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player.
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working).
